Up by the bridge today and not much to shoot. I saw this little bird and quickly took a shot. It wasn't until after that I realized he was trapped in an elaborate spider web. He was squawking in desperation as he wrapped himself even deeper into the web. you can see the spider in the foreground probably thinking he just won the lottery.
So, I waited until the bird died from exhaustion and watched the spider devour his eye..... just kidding. I freed the little fellow and sent him on his way. I scolded the spider for being a greedy pig and advised him to stick to bugs.
Bless you for freeing the trapped bird....karma will give you wings.
